BORACAY DAY AND NIGHT

It was nighttime when we arrived at Caticlan so we stayed at Tolosa Tourist Inn for a fair price. The following day, we rented a boat for 800php t to take us to Craystal Cove and and fetch us at around 4pm.
CRYSTAL COVE

ENTRANCE FEE:
FREE-kids 3 feet below
200PHP for kids and adults.

WHAT TO SEE AND DO:
There are two coves in the Island, cove 1 and 2. Be sure to bring your snorkeling gear because there are lots of fishes and coral gardens in the cove. We also tried to sneak crackers to the beach so they will swarm over you to eat.

You can also check their museum and the birds kept on big cages on the island.

WHAT TO EAT:
You can cook your own food and rice on the island. They don't charge a cooking fee but you need to pay for using a set of utensils like plates, spoons and fork etc.

DAY 1
11am-check in at La Carmela de Boracay. Our room doesnt have a hot or cold shower. We were upgraded to their new building from a double room at the executive building into a triple room at the new building. Last 2014, we stayed at Sun Wooh hotel, which i think is better because its small, it has very clean and comfy rooms, you can hang your clothes outside, and the pool is all yours.

PUKA BEACH

Puka Beach is only 20minutes tricycle ride from La Carmela de Boracay.
fare is 20pesos each and there are no entrance fees at Puka. During Moss season, Puka beach stays to be clear and white. Moss season happens in boracay during summer.

be sure to bring a bottle of water or drinks with you since bottled water or other refreshments are expensive in the area.

To go back to our hotel, we rode a tricycle at the puka beach tricycle station. fare is still 20pesos each.

5PM- back to hotel
6PM- Dinner. We ate at the Dapugan which is just a walk away from La Carmela. They serve good and not overpriced foods. =)

Paluto corners are different restaurants that cooks for you for a fee. There are also restaurants in the island that offers Paluto service other than the restos in the marketplace.

We decided to have our food cooked at the Dapugan, a restaurant near La Carmela. They only charge 150 pesos per recipe whether crabs, shrips or meat. Unlike other Paluto Service that charges service depending on the recipe which ranges from 150-300pesos per recipe.

Other cheap places to eat are; Mang inasal, Mcdonalds and 711.

There are many firedances during nighttime at boracay. The dancers are very expert in handling the poi and most of them dances on the tune of korean songs because almost 50% of tourists in the area are Korean.
