TRIP TO BORACAY

Boracay as one of the best beaches. So far, ive never been to Palawan yet, so i can't tell which is better and cant claim that bora is the best beach here. But ive been to the island twice. If you love to have fun and party you visit boracay. Palawan on the other hand is an island of bliss and serenity. The ambiance of the two are opposite.

HOW TO GET THERE: 

1. FROM MANILA- you board a plane to caticlan airport. Boaracay island is 10minutes boatride away from caticlan. fare is only 150pesos.

from the caticlan airport, take a tricycle for only 50pesos going to the caticlan-boracay jetty.

   
CATICLAN

STAY- If in case you wanted to spend the night in caticlan, there are several small motels in the municipality. Before we checked-in at caticlan, we check inns in the town. So far, for us, Tolosa Tourist inn offers the most budget-friendly price in the area and to say its more clean and better than the others.

EAT-The market is just a walk away from Tolosa and you can even ask a favor to the caretaker to cook the food you bought from the market. You just need to give a tip of course. Aside from theat, there are also many small carenderias around the area. We decidede to eat at Ramboys carenderia.

SHOP-  ukayukay stores and small boutiques are lined along the streets of caticlan. So if ever you think you will ran out of clothes, no problem. Boutiques sells all there items for only 99pesos each.

2. BYLAND FROM ILOILO

   5-8 hours to caticlan

 1. take a van or a taxi going to Tagbak Terminal. There are taxis queued at the airport or get a van that will take you directly to Tagbak terminal which is along McArthur highway, Jaro iloilo.

    

2. CERES BUS will take you directly to Caticlan. It terminates at Caticlan Jetty port which is just 10-minute boatride away to boracay.

3. FROM ROXAS CITY

 4 hours van to caticlan.

1. take a tricycle going to the terminal which is remotely located from their city. 

2. ride a van going to caticlan. fare=280pesos. The van terminates at the Caticlan Jetty Port.
